Savannah Committees

Volunteers

Volunteers Needed!

Associations would have a hard time existing without volunteers. They're the lifeblood of both Savannah and Isabella Village. Successful communities—those where residents are united by common goals and interests—are created by a broad base of active volunteers. This broad volunteer base brings essential diversity to the association—viewpoints, opinions, ideas, talents, and contributions, and we need your support.

The importance of volunteerism cannot be overstated. It builds social bonds, reduces isolation, provides the satisfaction of accomplishment, decreases feelings of powerlessness, gives residents a sense of control, and makes community associations vibrant and thriving places to live.

If you would like to volunteer with any of the committees listed below please click on the Committee Interest Form link. You may email the form to manager@savannahca.com or hand deliver it to the clubhouse.

Committees

  • The Hospitality Committee actively participates in welcoming new residents to Savannah and also helps with other community-wide activities such as hosting the New Home Owner’s Orientations, outdoor movies, and the annual Pajama Pancake Dinner.

You may also attend the monthly meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 pm located in the Savannah Clubhouse Cafe. The Cafe is located at the front of the Savannah Clubhouse.

  • The Landscape Committee works diligently towards increased property values in the community by educating and encouraging owners in the community to keep their properties well maintained as well as informing neighbors of the latest landscaping tips and tricks! They also collaborate with the HOA management team and SITE to support and review all of the common areas in the community.

You may attend the monthly meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month with times alternating between 1:30 pm and 7 pm. These dates fluctuate occasionally by demand (Board meetings with SITE, landscaping deadlines within the community, etc.) so please be on the look out for memos in the Enewsletter, calendar, and Connect portal. Meetings are located in the Savannah Clubhouse Cafe and occasionally in the theater. The Cafe is located at the front of the Savannah Clubhouse while the theater is located down the hall to the right of the foyer.

  • The Safety Committee works with the local police department to promote the Neighborhood Watch Program as well as address other safety concerns such as traffic flow, speed enforcement and other civil issues. The committee also helps to plan the annual National Night Out that informs residents about safety issues along with fun activities.

You may also attend the monthly meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 pm located in the Savannah Clubhouse Cafe. The Cafe is located at the front of the Savannah Clubhouse.

  • The Social Committee initiates and plans social events for the community. Activities range from holiday parties, community concerts, festivals, children’s play groups, pool socials, selecting themes for events, etc. Plan to meet your neighbors and let our onsite staff help you get started!

You may also attend the monthly meeting on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7 pm located in the Savannah Clubhouse Cafe. The Cafe is located at the front of the Savannah Clubhouse.

  • The Teen Committee is a Sub-Committee of our established Savannah Social Committee. This Committee meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6: 30 pm in the Cafe. This Committee is for kids between the ages of 11-18. The Committee is run by the kids (with adult guidance), for the kids. They plan activities and events for the youth of Savannah and even organize fundraising activities so they can pay for the events they plan. We want to inspire younger residents to be involved in their community to promote positive outlets for the kids' energy and creativity!

For information on upcoming Teen Committee meetings and events please contact Lifestyle@SavannahCA.com.

Please Note: Teen Passes are required to attend Teen Committee events. These passes are not amenity access cards and do not grant entry to amenities and are valid for Teen Committee events only.

  • This new Committee will focus on the conditions of HOA Amenities and HOA Common Areas only to ensure that they are getting all the attention they deserve to keep our neighborhood beautiful. This Committee will not have a budget, but will work with Maintenance to make sure all villages get the attention they may need. This committee meets every first Thursday of the month in the Clubhouse Café.
